Quality & Academic accreditation committee:

Purpose: deals with quality activities and preparation of the program for academic accreditation.

Committee responsibilities:

1- Promoting and disseminating the concept of quality culture among all program employees.

2- Continuously ensuring that the program meets the quality requirements issued by the Education Evaluation Commission / National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation.

3- Preparing and reviewing reports of programs and courses and submitting them to the department council in a timely manner according to the forms of the Education Evaluation Authority / National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation.

4- Preparing the program description periodically and submitting it to the department council in a timely manner according to the forms of the Education Evaluation Authority / the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation.

5- Follow up the preparation of course files in the program and work on updating them continuously.

6- Working on reviewing the program plan periodically to ensure that it is compatible with recent scientific changes and that it is compatible with the requirements of quality and academic accreditation.

7- Preparing a self-study report for the program according to the forms of the Education Evaluation Authority / National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation.

8- Preparing KPIs performance indicators reports

9- Identifying and collecting evidence and proofs for the primary self-evaluation measures.

10- Conducting reference comparisons for the program that will work to enhance the strengths, identify areas for improvement, and work on developing development plans to address them.

11- Carry out any other works and tasks within the scope and powers of the work.

Advisory Board committee:

Purpose: the advisory committee involve some professional members in the specialization as consultants, this committee help in the development of the program.

Scientific research committee:

Purpose: deals with scientific research issues; prepare the annual plan for the scientific research, etc.

Committee responsibilities:

1- Develop an urgent annual plan for scientific research for the program.

2- Implementation of the operational plan for the scientific publishing initiative.

3- Follow up on the achievement of the objective indicator of the initiative and provide documents, evidence and proofs supporting implementation.

4- The committee submits its work reports to the Dean.

5- The committee shall adhere to the timetable set for the implementation of the initiative after receiving a copy of the executive and operational plan for the current year.

Community partnership committee:

Purpose: deals with community partnership issues; prepare the annual plan for community services, make agreements with other parties in the local community.

Committee responsibilities:

1- Develop an urgent annual plan for the program's community partnership.

2- Implementation of the operational plan for the health education and awareness initiative.

3- Follow up on the achievement of the objective indicator of the initiative and provide documents, evidence and proofs supporting implementation.

4- The committee submits its work reports to the dean, who sends a copy to the college's strategic planning coordinator.

5- The committee shall adhere to the timetable set for the implementation of the initiative after receiving a copy of the executive and operational plan for the current year.

Program Development committee:

Purpose: deals with development of the program and it's curriculum; periodic revising and updating the curriculum to make sure its meet the labor market need and keep pace with development in the field.

Committee responsibilities:

1- Implementation of the program transformation plan 1445 AH in accordance with the requirements and objectives of each stage of the implementation plan of the project.

2- Preparing periodic reports for each stage of program development.

3- Continuous communication with stakeholders/beneficiaries (faculty members, alumni, students, employers) to ensure their participation in the program building and development processes.

4- Commitment to the set timetable for completing the program development processes.

5- Commitment to using the National Qualifications Framework 2020 as a reference for building developed programs and using the updated National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation models, taking into account the standards and criteria for academic program accreditation, version 2022.

Exams revision and quality committee:  

Committee responsibilities:

1- Aligning test questions with assessment methods and learning outcomes.

2- Ensuring that the questions are covered and match the course specification.

3- Ensuring the diversity of the questions and the distribution of their grades.

4- Any other tasks mentioned in the work guide for examination committees from the Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs.

Exit exam committee:

Purpose:  deals with all issues related to exit exam.

Committee responsibilities:

1- Collecting questions and supervising their formulation.

2- Completing the preparation of questions and sending them.
